Red Cendrawasih or in its scientific name Paradisaea rubra is a kind of medium-sized chirping bird, about 33 cm long, from the Paradisaea clan. This bird is yellow and brown, and yellow beak.
Adult red parrot bird measuring about 72cm which includes red blood-colored feathers with white ends on the side of the stomach, dark green emerald hairs and diekornya there are two long black double-stranded rope. The female bird is smaller than the male bird, with a dark brown face and no ornamental fur.
Red Cendrawasih endemics can only be found in lowland forests on Waigeo and Batanta islands in Raja Ampat district, West Papua province.
The presence of red Paradise is originated from polygamy species. Male birds attract couples with dance rituals that show off their ornate feathers. After copulation, the male bird leaves the female and starts looking for another partner. Female birds hatch and nurture their own birds. The Red Birds of Birds feed consists of fruits and various insects, and such is the ecosystem of the red parrot of Cendrawasih.
